The Wired variant must be hard wired into the trailer's electrical circuit to operate and is fixed to a designated tow vehicle. When you connect your caravan to your vehicle the caravan cable is simply plugged into the tow vehicle's socket as you normally would.

This installation results in less external visible cables.
